Soda Pop Comics
Soda Pop Comics was created in 2007 by Carla Rodriguez (Writer) and Rosa Colón (Illustrator). They are the first female owned comic studio in Puerto Rico. Soda Pop Comics' philosophy focuses on female characters of all ages, and provides colorful comics that everyone can enjoy. From their first story Zoe's Blues up to their wonderful webcomic Cupcake Graffiti, Soda Pop Comics prides itself in telling relatable stories paired with clean design. Carla Rodriguez is a pastry cook and has a flair for storytelling. Carla Rodriguez is the winner of Puerto Rico Comic Con Heroes Awards Best Writer 2012. Rosa Colón is a graduate of the University of Brighton (UK) with an MA in Sequential Design and Illustration, and a BA in Fine Arts from Puerto Rico University.
